Link of the Day 11/18/11

Today's video shows children being harassed and followed on their way to school in Lower Manhattan. Chilling stuff:

It looks like some people are starting to get fed up with the human debris littering the streets of New York and other cities. I'm fine with peaceful assembly and protest. I don't care if you get a permit to occupy a park and throw your little temper tantrum claiming you "represent" the 99%. Whatever. However, when you start terrorizing children, following them into the school, you've crossed another of the several lines you've already crossed.

There is some hope... finally some resistance to these people:

  1. Isn't it the media that has labeled these demonstrators as all being bums, hippies, jobless hobos? I know fox has for a fact. In fact, one of Fox's "Journalists"(term used way to loose for this discussion) Said "You will not see any Harvard or Yale Graduate out demonstrating. And guess what, yet again they were proven wrong. If these people could list off what their intended goal/s are I would be able to back them fully. The Gov. of Ohio stated in an interview, verbatim, what they should be going after. And what he said I can honestly say I agree 2,000% (a percentage came up with by liberals LOL) I am not a Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or conservative. They ALL suck. Till someone can put the good of the country above their own lies and greed. They can all.......(keeping it polite)

  2. My bad on this too. As for harassing children, THAT is just wrong no matter what your political views are!

  3. You can easily derive from their signs, sound bites and their financial (and political) backers what the stated goal is. Redistribution of wealth from those with the means to those with the need as well as replacing our capitalist economic system with Socialism. This will be brought about by "Revolution", a term several leaders of the movement have used in describing their end-game. They are waiting for a Kent State type incident to rally behind. They've been baiting the police for several weeks now hoping to get a violent reaction and the cops just haven't cooperated.

I can't defend the Fox comments since I have no context. Obviously they all aren't hobos and bums, but some of them are. Obviously there are going to be people from ALL walks out there protesting.

There is a lack of cohesion in this movement, and that is probably the most dangerous part about it. But there is a very real goal as I stated before. It involves forcible confiscation of private property all for "the common good". That is a main driving force behind my blog. I want to preserve this point in time. If we succumb to the Socialists, there will be a "cleansing" of any propaganda out there detrimental to the Socialist cause. I'll have all of this pulled off to a separate location when it happens. I know, it sounds conspiratorial but I'm seeing things go down that I've NEVER seen in America before.

    I hope I'm wrong.

  4. As for Socialism my friend, well, I have to agree with you. And no one has seen this type of crap in the US before. Its scary as hell. But, if the media would stop bullshitting us at every turn, the government would do something to help the country instead of themselves and we (as a country) could learn from other countries failures and triumphs instead of thinking we are the be all to end all country that has to police the world, this might get all straitened out. However, we have been lied to sooooooooooo much by all of the above that the average population has no trust in anything anymore. Worst off, people pretty much fear our government and that is the last ingredient to this pre-revolution bomb that is going to go off and soon. I absolutely hate all Political sides and Political Types. I actually hope there is a revolution but not to change to socialism or any other form of Government. I just want to see the reset button hit and the greedy politicians, whos only care is with what they can gain by using their power, get their shit burned down and hung from trees in front of the whitehouse. Sure its a terrible thing to say. But unfortunately its also whats needed to get this country back in the hands of the people for the people and by the people. We r F#@ked!

  5. There is widespread corruption on both sides, I will not argue with you on that point. The whole hanging people from from the trees thing, well, um, no comment.

Honest people do exist in Washington. They are few and far between, but they are there... on both sides of the isle. What we need to return to is a system that does not create career politicians -- where you go to serve in congress for one term and then return to your normal life. We need regular people in there who will be uninfluenced by outside forces.

By the way, your last comment inspired my first poll question. Feel free to vote on it!
